Terms of use
Terms of use for CityTour AI.
Terms of use Last updated: May 8, 2026
1. Provider and scope CityTour AI is provided by Micha Helbig, sole proprietor, Zuckerbergweg 50, 38124 Braunschweig, Germany. These terms apply to the app, website and digital content of CityTour AI.
2. AI-generated tours CityTour AI creates AI-assisted, self-guided city tours. AI-generated content may be wrong, incomplete or outdated. Opening hours, paths, safety, local rules, entrance fees, availability and accessibility must be checked on site by the user. CityTour AI does not replace professional travel, safety, legal or health advice.
3. Accounts The app can be used with a guest account. To restore purchases and tours on other devices, users can link an account with Google, Apple or email. Purchases, credits, tours, downloads and unlocks are tied to the respective account.
4. Credits Credits are internal app credits. They are not real money, e-money, currency or any other monetary value. They cannot be paid out, transferred, redeemed for cash or used outside CityTour AI.
5. Purchases and store rules Credit purchases for the mobile release are processed through Google Play or the App Store, with RevenueCat as the technical billing layer. The rules and payment terms of the respective store also apply. Store payments and refunds for purchased credit packages are handled according to the rules of the respective store.
6. Paid digital services and withdrawal Paid tour generations and paid tour unlocks are digital services. Before starting a paid tour generation or unlock, the app requires explicit consent that CityTour AI starts the paid digital service immediately. The user also confirms that the statutory right of withdrawal expires once the service has been fully performed. If a paid tour generation fails technically, charged credits are automatically refunded.
7. Private and public tours Generated tours can be created as private or public. Private tours are visible only in the user's own account. Public tours may be shown, reviewed, moderated, promoted and unlocked by other users in the catalog.
8. Rights to public tours By publishing a tour publicly, the creator grants CityTour AI the right to display, review, moderate, promote, technically adapt, translate and deliver the tour within the app and related product surfaces. For successful unlocks of public tours, the creator may receive an internal credit commission. Private tours do not generate commission.
9. Moderation and prohibited content CityTour AI may reject, remove, restrict or anonymize public tours, reviews, profile data, reports and other content in case of legal violations, quality issues, incorrect sources, unsuitable images, misuse, safety risks or other risks. Users may not submit unlawful, infringing, misleading or abusive content.
10. Account deletion If a creator deletes the account, private tours are removed and public tours are removed from the marketplace. Users who already purchased a public tour keep access; the creator reference may be removed or anonymized.
11. External sources and services Images, map, routing, POI and source data may come from external sources such as Wikimedia, Wikidata, OpenStreetMap-related services, Geoapify, GeoNames, LocationIQ, Nominatim, Postpass/Geofabrik, Overpass, Mapbox, Google Cloud/Vertex AI/Gemini and other providers. Displayed image, license and source notices must be observed.
12. Availability and changes CityTour AI may change, restrict or discontinue functions where this is required for technical, legal, security or product reasons. There is no claim to permanent availability of individual functions.
13. Reports and contact Unlawful content, incorrect attribution, privacy issues or support cases can be reported to [email protected].
